A GRAPH ORIENTED MODEL FOR ONTOLOGY TRANSFORMATION INTO CONCEPTUAL DATA MODEL

Abstract

The paper analyses graph oriented method for ontology transformation into conceptual data model. A number of methods were proposed to develop conceptual data models, but only few deals with knowledge reuse. In this paper we present an approach for knowledge represented by ontology automatic transformation into conceptual data model. The graph transformation language is presented and adapted for formal transformation of ontology into conceptual model. Details and examples of proposed ontology transformation into conceptual data model are presented also.
