Abstract

In this paper, the analysis of Bennett's integral is given for uniform quantization for two-dimensional Laplace sources using granular distortion Dg. The goal of this paper is to find a simple equation for distortion by solving Bennett's integral for uniform two-dimensional quantization. The analysis for optimal uniform quantization for two-dimensional Laplace sources is done.
